Any experience of Pia Bags and jewellery?

Pia

I like quality - not bothered about designer labels at all but I'd rather manage without than buy tatt. I like value for money too Grin

Anyway I need to replace my handbag and I came across these people. There are several styles I like and mostly leather for around £100. To me £100 for a bag should make it lovely quality but I'm not sure if I'm living in the real world. I suppose £100 for a leather bag is a bit of a bargain? Shock

Anyway, does anyone know what the quality is like?

Have had one of their leaflets in a magazine several times and the items always look nice. Unfortunately don't know anyone who has ordered from them to recommend or not, so if you do decide to take a chance and order, would be interested on your comments re the quality.

I was bought some earrings as a gift once and they are nice and seem of good quality.

I have bought jewellery but not bags . The catalogue is lovely .
To be honest the quality is a mixed bag. Some lovely stunning pieces and others not well made at all . . I have sent 3 things back in last year or two . But there is no problem returning and money is refunded fairly promptly .

I bought a bag there (leather) and it only lasted 18 months. I used it daily but I'm careful with my bags. The colour wore off the edges and the silverware was tarnished, then the catch broke. I exchanged dozens of emails with them and eventually they sent me £25 vouchers.

I personally expected a leather bag to last longer but then again perhaps you DO need to spend more to get good quality.

I can't afford to spend more than that so I made the decision to buy a Longchamp Le Pliage nylon bag (£60) hoping for it to last a year or so.

I have a few bits of jewellery and it's fine quality-wise but I don't know about the bags.

I have an older version of this bag

The quality is very good - it's had a lot of use and no scuffing/ fading / stretching. The zips and clips still work well too. Only problem is that the bright lining is a bit grubby, but that's not the fault of the bag Smile In general I thought it better than eg Debenhams own brand in equivalent price range.

Sounds like the quality generally can be a bit hit and miss - don't know what their returns policy is like?
