What top with yellow skinny cords?

Just that really. I bought some really nice mustardy yellow (but not quite mustard, more on the yellow side) skinny cords last year. I have barely worn them as I can't seem to get tops right. Ideally I'd like to find a jumper / top and cardigan combo, and a more lightweight top which went with them, so I could wear them through autumn, winter and spring.

I plan to wear them with either black or brown flat ankle boots, or oak brogues.

Any suggestions as to tops would be appreciated - both specifics and in general terms e.g. style, colour. I'm 5'2 and size 8 but with a slight mum tum and a lack of waist definition.

I have the same problem with some bright peacock blue ones I got last year. They look best when you colour block, I think, so a cobalt blue cardigan or jumper would look fab with your cords.

A cream jumper or a navy and cream stripy top. Teal also works well with mustard. Go with the tan boots.

Brilliant, thank you. Would not have considered colour blocking with them - and have a navy and cream striped top that I wouldn't have thought t wear with them. I'm off to rake through what is already in my wardrobe before I shop.
