Please help my find a dress to flatter my newly pregnant body. :(

I am 12 weeks pregnant with my second baby. No sign of a bump yet, but my normally very straight & slim sized 8-10 body is now closer to a 12 and has become more of an apple shape and I have no idea how to dress it!

It is my department Christmas party next Friday night and it is being held in a club. None of my dresses fit and everything I try on looks awful. Everyone else is young with great figures and I don't want to look like the frumpy, mumsy one. This is the polar opposite to my personality, but not being able to find anything that looks fun, and stylish and just a little bit sexy (cringe) is really getting me down.

If anyone could point me in the direction of something that might suit be I would be so grateful.

I had this problem a couple of years back. What are your legs like? There's an old French Connection dress called the Penny Party dress which fits the bill well but it is no longer on the site. They have a few on ebay here

It's quite short so you need good legs. I have it in black and wear it with black tights, very high heels and a rocking yellow beaded necklace and always get compliments.

Cos is your friend.

Something like this, this, this or this could work really well with heels and clutch.
