Trousers that aren't jeans or leggings

I fear slipping into elasticated waisted slacks. Help me save myself!

I'm trying to get dressed, it's Saturday, chilly, I'll be doing housework and messing about with the kids and popping into town

I'm bored of leggings. Jeans ALL fall down all the time and expose half my arse. I'm not sporty so can't do joggers. There must be some kind of soft, wide legged casual trousers surely?

Linen trousers? Sainsburys do thicker ones. Not sure if they sell them this time of year tho.

superdry I've seen the winterweight chinos in store and they are lovely. I'm wearing a pair of M&S skinny cargos from a couple of years ago today and they have been very comfortable and hardwearing.

I'm not a fan of linen trousers at best of times -though can see they feel nice and cool when it's very hot. But think they'd look a little strange this time of year . Boden have various possibilities for non jeans you might want to check out.

I know the feeing- jeans feel so stiff when you are used to leggings. I'm wearing a jumper dress and proper thick wooly tights at the moment. Love my wooly tights.

Or - how about these from Hush

I have just ordered some hareems from toast to have a try but they are huge and a bit strange.

Ooo the hush ones are quite The Thing. Ouch at the price tag. Are they nice quality does anyone know?
