HoC summers - or people who can't don't wear black

Would you wear this herringbone jacket?

I optimistically ordered it hoping it was navy but obviously it's not.

The herringbone has somenice soft grey but with black and white too. The overall effect is grey but up close it definitely has some black iyswim.

I love the jacket and it seems so useful but...

They also have it in plain navy but it's not as nice.

I wouldn't personally. Deep summer and neither black nor white suit me so certainly wouldn't wear both together. I would return and try to find something in grey.
