scared to wear new boots...

I am always, always in trainers. I recently bought some snow like boots as ive wanted them forages.
They are black, with a fur trim and lace like things up the front.

I cannot for the life of me bring myself to wear them. Yet i really want to!

I KNOW they look ten times better than my trainers.

I done the same with a new coat. It sits there screaming to be worn, and as much as i want to i just cant!

Why cant i just go for it and wear them. I know nothing is going to happen lol.

Anybody else like this with new things....or am i one of a kind?

Any suggestions on what i should/could do to make myself enjoy the change rather than fearing it?

Boots make my legs 'tired' so I only wear them in bad weather.

I have snow boots for winter but I keep them in case I spoil them too Blush

And I have a gorgeous long padded caramel colour coat that I just know I'll get stuck in the cardoor when I wear it.

And my cashmere jumper, as yet unworn and still in the wrapper Hmm

Yep me too. I hate the thought they're going to lose that brand new gleam.

My mum is like this. She thinks she should save nice new things 'for best'. She still has an unused pot of Estée Lauder night cream I bought her 16 years ago - probably rancid by now.

Wear the boots and enjoy them!

Lol so pleased im not alone on this one! Its really frustrating. I think im going to try and wear them over the weekend, even if it is just around the house!

Wear them and enjoy them, and when they wear out, get new ones. You'll be keeping someone in a job, if you need to justify it.... I never feel bad about buying new things. And you will look great!
