I think it's lovely, perfect for Christmas.

I don't love that style of dress (particularly if you have big norks) but it's ok and definitely festive

Oh dear, sorry to hear that. :( Both shift dresses and limp fabrics can be really unflattering on some body types. If you're wanting to emphasise your best bits, maybe go for something with a more tailored/structured cut in a stiffer fabric? Dresses that nip in at the waist tend to be more universally flattering.

Why hideous? Is it because it doesn't have much shape definition?

I do like the dress btw. It would definitly be so something I'd pick up. But it would probably make me look/feel fat though.

bunnylebowski-did you not get a lovely dress from M&co a few years ago? I seem to remember you posting about it? ANyway op it was a prom style black lace dress and I am pretty sure I have seen something on their website that looked very similar?
