Have just got my mitts on one of these little beauty's and oh yes it does produce the most perfect curls:) however i would like to have nice bouncy waves and am struggling with converting the perfect curls into anything other than a frizzy mess :(

I am a complete idiot with hair, so what do I need to do? Do I need to put a serum/product on? I've been brushing the curls through with my fingers, is that wrong, should I just leave them to drop for a bit longer?

On a separate issue what do those of you with a fringe do? I have a head of curls and a stupid straight fringe, am I going to have to grow the bloody thing out?
Help! I'm sure this thing could be perfect but getting frustrated already :)

I use oil and/or serum (depending on how dry my hair is feeling) before drying and curling. I curl and then just leave for a while to drop naturally. I sometimes use a bristle brush to coax curls that are too tight into more of a vintage curl style.

I have a fringe and I tend to blow dry it straight but over to one side a bit.

Yay thankyou! Tried again last night with serum and letting curls drop naturally and it was much better :)
