What to wear with a long tunic?

I'm a jeans and tshirt girl, but recently went on a shopping trip with friends. They convinced me to try on a tunic I was looking at and all said I looked great in it. Will leggings/tights look okay with it? I tend to wear ankle boots, and that's another thing I'm not sure about!

Opaque tights and ankle boots :)

Thanks for your replies. Glad I can stick with my ankle boots and will look around for leggings/opaque tights - definitely something you can't see through anyway!

Personally I don't like ankle boots with tunics/dresses, longer boots either calf length or just below the knee looks better imo.

As well as leggings, you could also try skinny jeans or thicker more structured leggings (treggings I think?)

I have some black jeggings from Next that nicely work as leggings under tunics, something about the material is more flattering than leggings but they are not too jean like either. Did that even make sense??
