Help- home bikini waxing but hairs staying put?!

I want to start waxing my own bikini line at home.

I bought some wax strips (Veet, bikini and underarm), but they're barely removing any hair?

I rip the strip off and it's hardly removed anything?

Am I doing something wrong? I wax my upper lip without difficulty so I would have thought that my basic technique was ok?

Any thoughts gratefully received.

I am a beauty therapist & don't rate home strips at all. They seem to stick to the skin causing bruising & not removing much hair. Could you try the roller wax & paper strips that should give a better result? Make sure you apply the wax with the direction of growth & pull away against the growth stretching the skin taut. Then apply a soothing after wax lotion
