I need to find a cheaper alternative to the Jenny Packham 'Joy' wedding dress for a friend. She is in love with the dress but could never afford it so thought I would seek the wisdom of the style gurus on here...... Thanks

What's her budget? There are some pre-worn ones for sale on the Internet.

To be honest she was looking at stuff for £200 (ie Monsoon / Phase Eight) when she stumbled across the Joy dress........

Even the second hand ones are ££££££

Do you think she could sell it on again third hand and make her money back?

Tricky. That is a beautiful dress. To answer your question: I think if your friend has fallen in love with it then yes, if she's careful with it on the day, she could well make a good chunk of money back from selling it again.
