Oh no, this thread has proved that I have no style. I have a blue version of the skirt(no sash I am pleased to add!) am not tall and slim and do wear it with Birkenstocks. Oh well, no chance of a new summer look so it'll have to stay!

Am now afraid I'll be spotted and heckled in the street

We visited a bunch of stately homes and castles in the Perthshire Highlands last month.

Many had curtains or bedhangings like this skirt.
