M and S girl's tee shirt design...could be misinterpreted?

I was in M and S last week when my eye was caught by one particular design on a child's tee shirt. I was in a hurry so couldn't stop and look more closely at the time. But when I checked the M and S website at home, my first impression was confirmed - the Autograph 'Shoes' design looks, well, phallic to me!
What do others think?

I emailed the company to point this out and they replied: '....
At M&S, we do our best to offer a choice that reflects the varying requirements of our younger customers, and of course the family and friends who buy their clothes. I assure you we would never intentionally incorporate any sexual content or images into any of our products, be they from our children's range or our adult's range.

It is certainly helpful to have received your comments and I have passed them straight on to our Childrenswear team. I know they will give all due consideration to your views when they review the design on this t-shirt and also for future products.'

I can see what you mean, but if I had just seen the top I wouldn't have thought that.

Shock at the My Little Pony knickers! But then, not everyone spends to much time on MN Grin

It looks more like cocks than it looks like shoes, but it doesn't look like shoes at all. If it weren't for the shiny balls it would look a bit neolithic.
