has anyone got a son who is growing their hair? my DS hasnt had it cut for ages now and it looks really nice but its now in his eyes. he is refusing to let me trim the fringe and i just wondered is it 'cool' to have it dangling in his eyes and shall i just let him be? he is 11.

It is cool, think boy band. Let him be until shcool complain

sounds cool to me - if it's annoying him wax may keep it from flopping in eyes.

Or if you really want him to get it cut offer him a Beckham-style aliceband and watch him run for the scissors...

my ds(12) hair grows really quickly, i once made the mistake of trimming his fringe and he looked very odd, in the end i just got it cut.

mrs badger was the name of my first teacher, when i see the name it always reminds me of her!

my ds has been growing his hair too and it looks great (he's 12) - it does kinda hang in his eyes but he just pushes it out of the way. He's got one of those emo styles where it's short at the back but long at the front
