Opinions on this 60th birthday gift

I bought this scarf fro my mum as a 60th birthday gift. She loves dragonflies so I thought it would be a lovely gift. However it is quite thin wool, but maybe that us as should be?
I'm on a limited budget so can't buy something extravagant but would appreciate opinions on this. As a btw, my mum is auburn so thought the colours would suit her too.

It's lovely. Subtle but not boring and suits any age.

And except when it's really freezing thinner wool scarves are much better when it comes to ease of tying , draping etc than thick bulky ones.

I like it too. My sister has auburn hair and wears a lot of green. I also agree with the previous poster that fine wool scarves hang and drape much better than thicker ones. I think it's a lovely gift.
