Many boots are 62% off in their clearance sale

Have you read their 'About Us' section of the website?

Shocking spelling and grammar.

They're fake, and that's without looking at the boots and the prices.

trixymalixy · 09/11/2013 09:25

Look at the English in the about us section. The boots probably don't even exist. You'll be sent a sponge through the post so they can prove they posted something. Don't buy!!

X post!

senmerrygoround · 09/11/2013 09:28

I agree with the "Shocking spelling and grammar" which rang so many bells.

Thanks for confirming!

My anti virus won't let me open the page.....

Looks v similar to the fake Ergo baby carrier sites - the spelling gives it away immediately!

Princesspond · 09/11/2013 09:41

The official Ugg store has a checker

counterfeit.uggaustralia.co.uk/

Unsurprisingly the site you mentioned is a known counterfeit website.

If u want cheap Uggs, I have some lovely ex- display ones from branch 309 an outlet site from Schuh. They are listed with damage but mine were pretty much perfect and you can return if unhappy.

senmerrygoround · 09/11/2013 09:43

Ooh Princesspond, will take a look at branch 309 Thanks

I'm sure I had boots from this site about 6 years ago. Yes of course they were fake, and took forever to arrive, but they were quite good fakes!

Wouldn't buy again but they were ok, and did last a long time. Depends how you feel about fake goods - at the time I was persuaded by a (miserly!) friend who said only mugs buy real Uggs!

I must be a mug because I've since gone on to buy real Uggs (3 x pairs!) and never regretted it Smile

thornrose · 09/11/2013 10:15

Hmm, I bought some from this site a few years ago, genuinely thinking I'd got a bargain! (naive)

They looked quite good but there was a slight difference in colour, one boot was lighter! They were for my dd and she didn't care/notice and wore them out!

senmerrygoround · 09/11/2013 10:43

NQP and thornrose, interesting.

However I am well and truly warned off!
