HoC autumns - how do you wear mustard?

I have a couple of lovely mustard skirts but I'm not sure what colours to wear them with. What colour tights? Grey? Brown? Wine..?
And what colour tops?

I have mustard tights which I love and wear a lot with navy dresses but I'm struggling to come up with good combinations otherwise.

Apologies if this has been done, in that case please point me in the right direction. Thank you :)

I have some teal tights that I'd wear with mustard skirts if I had any! Or dark green? Can see wine looking good, even thou not the autumn palette . Come on the main Autumns thread and ask there too.

As for tops, orange red looks amazing with mustard, as does good old cream. Browns too of course, though funnily I wouldn't wear brown tights with mustard.

I really like mustard with cream, marine navy, forest green, dark olive (but that one is a v typical autumn look, iykwim!) - one of my favourite outfits is dark petrol navy leather leggings, oyster coloured oversized shirt and mustard waistcoat, either with dark coloured pointed courts for smart, or chunky biker boots for casual.

I wear a mustard knitted jacket with cream or navy top and trousers, or with a navy/grey striped dress (although this isn't very autumn)

I've also got a elbow length cropped mustard wool jacket that looks great with khaki/cream stripes under.

thanks for all the suggestions. I have quite embraced my autumn colours in the last year but sometimes still struggle to put them together well.
I will now start getting through the "main" autumn threads :)
