Ever think that these kind of forums are bad for you?

Grin

I'm spending a fortune on clothes and make-up, spending hours rifling through beauty blogs and forums and all I get for it is a lighter wallet and anxiety over my new-found hobby of self-absorption!

Should I get a life offline or console myself with yet another 'how to put on foundation' youtube vid?

I've never had such a collection of cleansers. One used to be enough but now I have to rotate three and get all in a pickle if my blush is too 'warm'.

Anyone else?

With the latest purchase I always think my wardrobe is complete, until......
I have always loved fashion etc but like the links on here and fashion advice. I have lots of girlfriends but they glaze over when I start talking fashion and don't really get it so on here I can go on about world events clothes to my heart's content. Escapism....just fluffy fun and keeps me up to date too.
What baffles me a bit is when people go " what do you think of this..." To a load of strangers keep your wits about you is great adviceGrin

Sorry, pea got to say - the Bourjois blusher is very good! - hope I'm not leading you astray :)

I can go one better than the Bourjois...the Rimmel Stay Blushed Liquid Cheek Tint.Like a moussey liquid in a tube (no blush under your nails then!) and surprisingly good-and I was a Posietint addict!!! Only £4.49 a tube Grin

You soo have to try cream blush.Much healthier and natural looking that powder blush

Is it easy to put on Trip? I can feel a visit to Boots coming on :)

I think Bourgeois blusher is great. Am a bit scared of cream blusher.....

Very easy to put on and can be built up too.A million times easier than Posietint which can leave pink dots or stripes on your cheeks if you aren't quick enough!

Maybelline mousse blush is quite nice too,but has a bit of sparkle in it (not that you notice on your cheeks)

It's worth it for the rosehip oil tip alone - that has made an enormous difference to my face.

Waaaaaah! You're all leading me down a dark path! Shock

I'll practise with lipstick on my cheeks to see if I like the effect ;) Clown anyone?

Its bad and good for you.

Good because posters will be brutally honest or give good advice on all sorts of stuff.

I already HAVE cleansers I'm happy with and won't spend loads on them anyway. Same goes for moisturisers. UNLESS I love them.

clothes - well it depends I can look but not buy.

I bought a cream blusher (max factor) due to all the raving on here. It looked awful though. It could have been the wrong colour but I'll stick to my powder blush!

What has rosehip oil done Primal?

Report
PrimalLass · 08/11/2013 12:53

It has definitely reduced the lines. I had a horrible sleep crease, which is gone. The overall 'texture' of my skin is softer.

Thanks, do you use it under a moisturiser or on its own?

Report
PrimalLass · 08/11/2013 14:50

Sometimes on its own, but sometimes under moisturiser. I have really dry sensitive skin so it depends whether I feel like I need more. I started off with a generic one:

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pure-Natural-Rosehip-Rosehip-Seed-Oil-10ml-/121031738707?pt=UK_Health_Beauty_Natural_AlternativeTherapies&hash=item1c2e0dc553

Then bought Trilogy, but it is a drier oil, if that makes sense and I prefer the first one. So I have ordered a huge bottle.

Well, I went out and bought the Rimmel Stay Blushed in pink - it's lovely! A really nice, natural looking flush of pink that goes on well without foundation. I haven't used blusher for years but used to love Benetint, it's a similar effect, slightly peachier colour. Thanks TripTrap. Smile.
