Boots for a 12 year old girl

I'm trying to find a practical, comfortable pair of boots for my 12 year old daughter. She is UK size 4.5, which seems to fall between child and adult sizes but she is too slim footed to wear most adult boots/shoes.

Can anyone recommend anywhere good, preferable with a decent website?

Doc Martens or Kickers boots seem to be the fashion here. Both pretty sensible too.

my daughter is 12 & she has the doc marten look a likes from next in patent leather. She loves them - she has put tarten doc marten laces in them & they look really good - didnt want to pay out for the dms as her feet may still grow & also these are less chunky which suit her as she is quite petite

Thank you for the suggestions. I wouldn't want to pay Kickers/ DM prices for a pre teen but I like several of the Next ones and a couple of the M&S too. I hadn't thought to look there as I generally don't like Next clothes.
I will let her have a little look tomorrow.
