I kid you not this - top right is the least bad option to be found in the whole of Kingston. left it too late to do mail order. I suppose it's just about ok but really not my taste at all (and of course they only had it in pink).

my daughter usually wears cotton cardigans in the summer

DS wears zipped hooded tops generally. Although has to say he hasn't worn anything for weeks - doesn't feel the cold at all. DD wears cotton cardigans or a zipped top.

Why don't you try the Boden sale which is now on? They still have some girls' sweatshirts and cardigans left in several sizes (not all pink either) and now for a more reasonable price.

Boden half zip 'fleeces' and they've also got one that's just a sweatshirt from Boden.

DD just wears a thin cotton cardigan (although very few around at the moment) or a zip up cardigan thing She isn't keen on jumpers or sweat tops as she gets hot quickly (she doesn't really feel the cold much).

Did you try Gap? I bought very lightweight hoody from there in the sale. Also zip-up cardy from Hennes, Wimbledon has children's shop if that is any help! Sister bought DS a great sweatshirt from Ted Baker but I am sure it cost a bomb. What about Debenhams?

My two wear v lightweight zip up hoodies from Gap in either white or navy blue generally.
