Are there any non-heinous Next home fragrances?

I was planning to use a Next voucher to help with Christmas presents and candles/diffusers seem to be right for the people I have in mind, but are the smells nice? Or a bit cheap?

I was in store yesterday, shopping for the dd's (and leggings for me!) and the newyork and dark night/noir were nice. new York was quite strong though.

They don't last or smell very strongly at all - that's my gripe with Next home fragrances. I got one last year and it literally smelt of nothing Hmm

I've currently got the noir/black big diffuser thingy and it smells lovely in my living room. Not overpowering at all but I get a lovely whiff every now and then.

Thanks everyone. I think I need to go and smell properly

The Milan one seemed ok

noooo spend it on something else for yourself. Asda now sell yankee candle tartlets and Sainsburys do a good line in candles diffusers.
