Gel eyeliner that doesn't crumble/slide down your face

Please?

Oh, and I'm fussy about colour too. I need soft colours. Even most of the browns I've tried have been too harsh...

what ones do you currently use?

I like bobbi brown gel eyeliners as I find them easy to apply, they have good staying power on me (however have heard conflicting views about them on here) and I love the colours. One of my favourites in their range is a lovely brown-ish colour called Forest which is not harsh at all, you might like that? I have a thing for green shades and ivy is fab.

I also have estee lauder ones (in emerald and a purplish colour, not sure what their brown is like) and I find they stay on really well too.

I tried maybelline's dark brown but find this cakes too much and is difficult to apply.

I used to use Bobbi Brown ones but now use Maybelline, which are just as good for a fraction of the price

I also use Bobbi Brown its fantastic, never smudges Smile

Another vote for Bobby Brown. I've got the pencil and the eyeliner pot and both are terrific.

sorry meant to say I use one of the eye liner brushes you can buy from them too. my favorite colour is also forest.Grin

Chanel. Last for ever and smooth. Worth it!

Had forgotten I started this Grin

thanks all. I have the maybelline, but I find the brown quite harsh. I bought the M&S one after reading rave reviews, but it barely lasts a morning. Hadn't tried BB's as I'd heard they crumble quite easily, but the feedback here seems pretty good and I find her colours quite kind, so I'm going to look into it.

Having said that, in my researches last night, came across Laura Mercier tightliner. Is anyone here tightlining?

I think a trip to the shops is in order.

Clinique has a good one.

Not a gel liner but no 7 pencil in sable is a fantastic brown, I'm fussy about browns too!
