recommend a good eye makeup remover for sensitive eyes?

I have Benefit They're Real mascara, which I love, but it's a devil to get off. Can anyone recommend a good remover? I don't really want to pay the earth, but I'm fed up of morning panda-eyes.
Thanks!

Strangely someone suggested to me hot water on a cotton wool pad and low and behold it just wiped clean off. Very strange but true :)

Olive oil and a hot cloth is also amazing for wiping makeup clean off.

Almond oil is brill and really good for skin. Cheap too in sainsburys.

i use cleanse and polish all over the face and it removes that awful benefit mascara!

Thanks all, I love the mascara but not sure I'd buy it again because it's such a faff to remove.

Southeastra, is that the Liz Earle stuff?

I've got some Argan oil somewhere, might try that tonight.

Pure coconut oil melts it away. It's solid, so you rub between your hands, rub on gently and wipe off with a hot cloth. My skin is gorgeous since I started using it.

southeastastra · 31/10/2013 19:35

yes, i'm a bit of a convert as it's so easy to use and gets make up off really quickly and cleanly

MissBeehiving · 31/10/2013 19:50

Would second the coconut oil.

Cleanse and Polish is good (yes it's the Liz Earle one)
Superdrugs own brand is pretty good.

I use Gatineau Floracil.
It even shifts Mally Beauty mascara .

The oil wipes off with the hot cloth. Honestly, it's amazing. Even my 14 year old daughter has been converted.

MissBeehiving · 31/10/2013 20:35

Oh, the oil is fine - doesn't feel any different to eye cream.

YoungBritishPissArtist · 31/10/2013 20:42

I third coconut oil.

I also use Trilogy rose hip oil sometimes, it's expensive but only need a little.

Boots botanics eye make up remover is about £3 and does the same job as Lancôme Bi-Facil, great for my sensitive skin. Often on 3 for 2 as well.

JoanRanger · 01/11/2013 06:37

Nivea

RescueCack · 01/11/2013 06:41

Coconut oil

Simple brand works well for me at removing waterproof mascara, and I'd imagine it should be OK for sensitive eyes

OneDayWhenIGrowUp · 01/11/2013 08:13

I love Kiehl's eye makeup remover, i tend to wear quite a lot of colour/eyeliner/mascara when out and this will take it all off with just a teensy bit on one cotton pad, I have v sensitive eyes and wear contacts, and this has been the one eye makeup remover that hasn't been irritant AND does the job really really well.

Kefybaby · 01/11/2013 08:18

I have very sensitive eyes and blephariris. The avene cleanser (face+eyes) seems to have helped.

Theoldhag · 01/11/2013 08:21

A little drop of olive oil, in fact olive oil is fab for most skin types

101handbags · 01/11/2013 16:41

I second simple eye make up remover. I use it to get stubborn lipstain off too and it's way way cheaper than Clinique Take the Day Off.
