I get loads of compliments with these zara trousers

Just thought I would share. I never get trouser complements. I am slight chunky of thigh and these are fitted on me. Anyway loads of compliments from people who don't even normally compliment me, like my much younger brother - you would think its a matter of principle for him not to haha!

Cheap, comfortable and wash quite well.

do they have stretch in them?

bluebluecow · 31/10/2013 09:49

What size would I need, usually a large 12 or small 14? Do I go for M or L? Thanks

sedgieloo · 31/10/2013 09:59

They are stretchy. I'm 5'9 and pretty consistently a size 10 or medium in zara. There is just enough length for me but I'm long in the leg. They are a bit synthetic feeling but not shiny and great smart ish SAHM trouser option I find. Nice change from jeans or leggings anyway but just as comfy.

Blueblue - try large, the sizing isn't very generous in my experience

i love zara trousers and really recommend them, though I'm a 14 32 waist and have to get the largest 44/16/XL size for trousers there.

mysteryfairy · 31/10/2013 15:16

Have you for them in camel? I fear I would look as if I had no pants on from a distance.

Medal · 31/10/2013 16:29

The grey marl ones are lovely. I am 5ft 3 and a 32" leg, think they might be way too long for me?!

sedgieloo · 31/10/2013 18:01

Mystery - I have them in a burgundy from last season. I plan to buy the brown and maybe the camel but have the same concern! I may check in store first.

Medal - do you want me to measure the inside leg on mine. They are very much ankle skimming on me but I don't mind with an ankle boot they look fine.

did oyu have to buy size super enorme to get them over your legs?

LordPalmerston · 31/10/2013 18:02

i got some tartan ones from there that i ( slim of thigh) couldnt get on - even in a LARGE

is a freaky shop

sedgieloo · 31/10/2013 18:11

LordP I know what you mean I have found that before and felt depressed to buy larger than normal, but not so much recently, and the medium is fine. I'm usually comfortably a size 10.

well that is a relief

nobeer · 31/10/2013 18:15

I've seen women wear the camel ones, and I have had to do a double take. I would never be that daft brave. I like the grey marl ones.

agree camel often looks NUDEY RUDEY
