I know its early, but lookiong a for a xmas party dress....anyone bought one yet?

I am 40 and pear shaped. Size 10 up top and size 12 below. I normally got for shift/prom dresses. I have a couple of parties in December so would love to find something I feel comfortable in.

Just bought this - I'm a size 16 and it is amazing! Makes me look really slim

I have this on the way, but for a wedding and party next year. Still full price on John Lewis. It will probably go back but I like the look of it.
