Where should I look for a wedding outfit?

I could be a challenge, folks.

I'm a recently-much-reduced small size 12, pear shaped, modestly busted 5'6, non-heel wearing (unless the outfit goes with brown, which is the colour of the one pair I own) 42yo who usually likes wide legged trousers and trainers and a generally relaxed look but favour the striking/unusual when I can carry it off.

I'm also skint and even if I sell stuff (as planned - we're moving house) I doubt I'll raise enough for a whole outfit.

I've been invited to a New Year's Eve wedding. I don't own any posh enough frocks and I'm not a suit kinda person.

I have no idea where to start looking.

Help..?

Coast do lovely dresses that are suitable for weddings. eBay is a good place to look - there are often dresses for sale that have only been worn once to a wedding or event.

Thanks, never tried Coast. I'm wary of eBay as I'm not a standard shape - smaller bust than hips iyswim - so really need to try on.
