Help!!!!

OP posts:
Notcontent · 26/10/2013 18:46

Not bad but just a tiny bit too chunky for me.

IDugUpADiamond · 26/10/2013 18:49

I love everything about them except the side profile as the heel protrudes a bit too much, making the boot look clunky (and I like chunky heels myself).

brunette123 · 26/10/2013 18:49

I agree with notcontent sorry - they are a bit chunky and maybe a bit blokey but certainly wouldn't pay £125 - ok I may be a cheapskate but places like Tesco have similar but if you love them get them, if I liked something that other people didn't, I'd still wear it/them. x

LOLisNOTaPunctuationMark · 26/10/2013 18:53

I love the boots, but not the heels. They look like they've just been put on as an after thought.

Missbopeep · 26/10/2013 18:55

I think they are nice.

Missbopeep · 26/10/2013 18:57

I have some Dune boots that are calf height with the same kind of heel almost and they look much better in the flesh. I think the price is reasonable- I paid almost that for mine which are just like high ankle boots.

Notcontent · 26/10/2013 18:58

Yes, exactly, there is something slightly out of proportion about the heel.

IorekByrnisonsArmour · 26/10/2013 19:00

Yes I agree, it's the heel Sad

I can only buy 1 pair of boots, I like chunky, not too high

I'll keep looking, what a PITA

I just got something similar, reiker boots, they are waterproof and lined, lovely eveyroen comments on them. Will find a link...

Missbopeep · 26/10/2013 19:03

Does that mean no one likes mine either :(

still unworn and have receipt.
They are really comfy and so warm.

I got these a few weeks ago, they are fab.

IorekByrnisonsArmour · 26/10/2013 19:05

miss I love yours!

Was worried they would be too short

LOLisNOTaPunctuationMark · 26/10/2013 19:07

I think the boots (both pairs) are so lovely, I'd buy them even though i don't like the heel.

IorekByrnisonsArmour · 26/10/2013 19:08

5 they look fab!

IorekByrnisonsArmour · 26/10/2013 19:12

I don't like skinny jeans so boots that work with tights and skirts would be good

OP posts:
Missbopeep · 26/10/2013 19:12

I did have issues with the heels but when they are on with skinnies etc they look ok imo.

The thick sole balances it a bit but I do agree they are slightly odd!

I have knee boots too so these for me are more ankle boots.

AtticusMcPlatypus · 26/10/2013 19:12

Love them although my bank balance would not be so keen Sad

5madthings · 26/10/2013 19:13

They are, I have had lots of compliments on them, super cmfyr, I walk a good two hours a day for school run and they are great. OK have to go over a field so needed something sturdy and weather proof. I have got them covered in mud and you just brush out off when it does and they look good as new.

Very happy with them and think they are very rreasoanbly priced as they are very good quality :)

I have been recomendig them to everyone!

Missbopeep · 26/10/2013 19:13

Have you looked at Clarks and others at Dune?

5madthings · 26/10/2013 19:14

Lorek*I haveworn them with tights and a skirt as well as jeans :) they look good with both.

MrsOsbourne · 26/10/2013 19:15

Very odd heel - it makes them look cheap - sorry !

HandMini · 26/10/2013 19:20

I don't like the heel. Generally dissed on MN I think, but I love Fly boots and last winter had a pair really similar to your link but flat. They were great. If wearing with tights, watch out for zip snag on the inner calf, mighty annoying.

IDugUpADiamond · 26/10/2013 19:21

Iore, Caterpillar boots are usually chunky and comfy but better looking than those Dune ones.
