What boots do I wear with skinny jeans (and not thin legs !)

I've been wearing ballet flats with them, but now I'm stuck. Need to be waterproof and flat. Not keen on Uggs this year. I quite like the Blowfish slouchy ones…

I'm a size 18, and my legs aren't huge, but not thin either…

I'm 42 Sad

Any suggestions ?

Watching with interest. I have great huge calves and need some boots too.

Clark's have some great boots this year. I bought a few pairs but I hope someone more stylish than me comes on to offer advice. I don't do uggs.

I have some Cat boots, I think they're called Anna. They're from Barratts. They're pretty casual but comfy!
M&S do some good wide legged ones.

Clarks do a range of waterproof boots.
Timberland also have some - here.

I'm not keen on long boots over jeans (not sure if that's what you were meaning) as I look like I pirate.

I would be looking for ankle boots high or flat.

I've just bought these and love them! Suede is waterproofish right?

Waterproofing spray!

I like ankle boots with skinnies but my calves are too massive so I go for a nice trainer - there are some fabulous coloured ones around at the moment. I'm wearing a fab bright purple New Balance pair from Office.

If that's too bold then Converse look good.

Lots of these from New Look are nice. A bit of a heel if you can manage it can be quite flattering too.

I wear Gabor Verano boots which have adjustable buckles. Not sure how wide they go but worth a try
