Your best neutral eyeshadow (non-sparkly)

I'd like to find just one neutral/beige eyeshadow that's good all over eye and doesn't require messing about with several shades. I had one once but I can't remember for the life of me what it was.

I just look weird if I skip the eyeshadow and just use mascara. Any suggestions?

Liz Earle nude. Not sparkly and mot too matt either Just slap it on. Never a problem. Great base shadow or on its own

polyhymnia · 25/10/2013 19:58

Bobbi Brown cream eye shadow. Great texture and they do several matte nude shades - eg, cement.

Vibbe · 25/10/2013 20:29

Mac Grain - it has a satin finish, so has a bit of shimmer, but not so much that it's something I notice much.

OneLittleLady · 25/10/2013 20:39

Benefit Low Profile.

Mac Malt or Soap and Glory Quad eyeshadow in "what's nude" - these are matt or I also like Boots 17 trio eyeshadow has a bit of shimmer.

SmokyHeart · 25/10/2013 21:18

I like Nars All About Eve. It's a duo but the colours work very well on their own. There is a bit of shimmer, but not really noticeable.

Benifit big beautiful eyes or one of the colours from it

ZacharyQuack · 25/10/2013 22:43

Chanel Safari or Smashbox Fade In Palette or one of Bobbi Brown's many matte shadows.

Havingkittens · 26/10/2013 00:00

MAC Orb if you have pink tones in your skin or Brule if you're more on the yellow/beige side.

bareminerals ready the enlightenment

Arisbottle · 26/10/2013 01:10

Mac paint pot in painterly , I often use it as a base.

I also have a bare minerals primer in a tube which I like. I don't think it is sparkly.

MrsMaryCooper · 26/10/2013 08:13

Benefit Birthday Suit or RSVP (which has a little shimmer)

TwentiethCenturyGirl · 26/10/2013 08:14

Mac Rice Paper - my perfect neutral.

A second vote for MAC Grain. Also like Shroom.

TallulahBetty · 26/10/2013 09:28

MUA matte palette - only £4 and there's 8 neutral matte shades. I really love it and it's such good quality for the price.

LydiaLunches · 26/10/2013 10:06

Cheesymonster · 26/10/2013 10:47
