Post break-up/weight loss/new start winter wardrobe - help me!

Hello, I am in desperate need of ideas and guidance!
I have recently booted out a cheating husband, lost a couple of stone and toned up due to daily obsessive yogalates and am feeling generally pretty good about myself and how I look. Due to aforementioned marriage breakdown, I have been utterly skint for weeks and today got a very nice Tax Credits backpayment which leaves me with a tidy sum after paying nursery and rent arrears. I WANT SOME NEW CLOTHES! I am 31, now about a size 14 and pretty much clueless. I have never really left the grungy student stage, have always felt guilty about spending money on myself but am determined to spend some of this on some fabulous capsule items, and maybe a couple of fripperies :)
I don't have a specific style really, am usually in leggings and dress, or skinny jeans and top. I wear a lot of cardigans. I would like a decent pair of boots, a good coat and possibly a snuggly jumper, but what I am really lacking is tops.
I plan to go shopping on Friday when twatface has the DC, but would love some ideas beforehand otherwise I just start hyperventilating in the middle of New Look. Am also booked in for cut and colour on Saturday so am really in the mood for a style rejuvenation!
Any suggestions welcome! I am open minded and ready to experiment!

Congrats on losing the weight and the husband. Why don't you look at Project 333 on Pinterest. If you feel in overwhelm/overley giddy will help you focus on what you actually need/colour palettes etc etc. Think you should also go for fripperies too though....

Awww....Well done on making yourself over body wise. New start for you and lots to look forward to. Pinterest is a great place to start as the poster above me said. Start a board (private or public) and select catagories and then have a good look around and pin things that you like. You will soon have built up your own pinboard of how you want to look. You can always come back and ask us to have a look on pinterest at your board if you like, and then we can assist (pass judgement lol).
Good luck . Smile
