Ideas for stylish wardrobe suitable for mum with toddler?

At the moment, I have work clothes, and a kind of anti-work wardrobe (scruffy, comfy, relaxing). I will soon be staying at home much more with my toddler DS, and would like to buy some slightly nicer 'at home' clothes. Any ideas for easily washable and practical clothes that also look nice? What do other mums wear? I'm mid 30s if that's relevant :).

I have the same dilemma, quite happy with my work wardrobe but home days are frumpy days! I've been trying to develop a look based on things I see others wearing that are practical but look ok.
I've got some flat boots, converse trainers, rugby tops, skinny jeans...

Try gap (online if you can't get to the shop) for nice colours and non-frumpy shapes!
