E45 alternatives for my hands and feet

Hello. I've used E45 as a hand cream and loved the way it feels, but I'm after something more natural (no dodgy chemicals) and not tested on animals (if it's OK for vegans it would be a bonus but not essential). Thing is because I have to buy online I don't get to try things before I buy, so can anyone recommend a hand cream (for when my hands feel dry) and a lotion (as a top up in between using a cream) please. I've used Weleda Skin Food and find it too smelly and a bit too sticky to rub in so am looking for something else. I know it's not vegan, but has anyone tried Burt's Bees products?
Thanks.

There's a ban in the EU on cosmetics and skincare that have been tested on animals, so it shouldn't be possible to find products that are tested on animals anymore in the EU: europa.eu/rapid/press-release_IP-13-210_en.htm

I don't know if you're trying to avoid parabens, but if you are, please be careful - some of the ingredients that are replacing the parabens are causing allergies and haven't been tested to the extent as parabens have been.

Nuxe hand cream is very nice. I'd recommend Avene or La Roche-Posay. The Avene Cold Cream hand cream is great - my dad has psoriasis and he finds that it really helps him.

CCS is unbeatable for feet IMO

LividofLondon · 22/10/2013 20:22

What's CCS?

Body Shop Hemp range - they do a hand cream & a foot cream, not sure about a lotion. Both these are really good.

Shea butter! It's got the highest healing fraction of all natural oils...you can get a kilo of it for a tenner off amazon
