Take pity on me- can anyone tell me which 'season/colours' from picture?

I feel like I'm at a loss as to which colours suit me and which don't. I tried to make an appointment with the only person locally who does HOC and couldn't find a babysitter so it fell through.

I'm really interested in finding out more and even a rough guess at to which 'season' I may be would be great. I've attached a picture on my profile. Anyone willing to make a suggestion?

I offer a virtual G&T to anyone who takes the time. Thank you.

Thanks so much alwaysneedaholiday, that's great advice.

Hmmm...you remind me of my autumn friend but it is so difficult to be sure from a picture alone

I always find this website useful for comparisons

Ps- I know I'm not OP but I was looking for tips on colours and your response was great

GremlinsdidIt · 21/10/2013 21:22

Thank you for these suggestions. I will look at the links. It's great to have a starting point but I know it's hard to tell from a picture. I'm hoping this will help me get the capsule wardrobe I've always wanted!

I have no idea but you have such nice hair!

GremlinsdidIt · 22/10/2013 07:54

Thank snargaluff. I recently went back to my natural colour after years of being blond so your comment much appreciated!

Anyone who guesses from a picture is doing just that - guessing. It's impossible to tell without a RL draping. Rather than asking others you're better off just picking a palette you like the look of (google different palettes or look on pinterest) and going with that.

GremlinsdidIt · 22/10/2013 12:31

Thanks hopefully, I agree with you. Just feeling a bit lost fashion wise after second dc and thought getting a clue about where to start might help me get my wardrobe in order.

Once dc is older I hope to get a hoc analysis.

Stick to a warm palette and play around wih Spring/Autumn to find your best fit. Black is overpowering on you. I personally think you are true Spring- how do you feel in brighter tones?

GremlinsdidIt · 22/10/2013 13:53

Thanks steppedonfrog. I do like warm colours and I actually wear black a fair bit. Bright colours are the ones I tend not to wear, have no idea how to wear them!
