I'd say sweaters are okay, hats are not. The Merry Berries christmas pudding hats are gorgeous on babies or toddlers, not so on grown ups. (Couldn't believe it the first time I saw an adult in one.)

I really like it. I bet it sells well. Just don't wear it with a puffball skirt and patterned tights
