I nearly spat my drink across the room, who the hell would wear a lace helmet?

FurryDogMother · 21/10/2013 13:14

£200? Seriousy? For a lace bucket?

Lightupatnightpants · 21/10/2013 13:14

Ahhaha brilliant.. If you were going to a Halloween night dressed as a roman!

Doearwigsmakechutney · 21/10/2013 13:33

Love it! Grin

Annianni · 21/10/2013 13:33

Nobody is seriously going to buy that.
When would you wear it?!

HormonalHousewife · 21/10/2013 13:36

Well i would wear it the next time I went to an Ammish event...

ajandjjmum · 21/10/2013 13:39

I saw the fox scarf yesterday - was seriously tempted!!!! Grin

squoosh · 21/10/2013 13:41

I wore similar when I had my studio photos taken. I thought I looked quite on trend.

SundaySimmons · 21/10/2013 14:00

Great for a magazine cover shoot as it reminds me of a Norman Parkinson shot from yesteryear

norman parkinson vogue

But not to wear in Sainsbury or for the school run.

madammecholet · 21/10/2013 14:00

squoosh I think you need some botox love. Just saying. GrinGrin

OK, this is a bit of a head scratcher as well, apart from next week maybe, you'd just look a tit wearing it - & its £400!

Pumpkin suede clutch

plus it looks like my 5yr old made it in class..

I despair.

Not only that but you can 'complete the runway look by wearing yours with the matching dress' this.

madammecholet · 21/10/2013 14:15

I kinda think the dress is OK, by itself, WITHOUT the bonnet! Hilarious that you'd put the two together though... not sure its a 'runway' look or a you're 'barking mad' look.Grin

It's like Little House on the Prairie!

nicename · 21/10/2013 14:43

I think some people have more money than sense.

I think its a hat.

Grennie · 21/10/2013 14:47

I think the dress is lovely. I actually quite like the bonnet as well. Although I wouldn't wear either of them unless I was a very young, rich and slim woman - which I am not.

Lovecat · 21/10/2013 14:49

I notice that there isn't a full frontal picture showing the model wearing it so that you can see her face, just a weird side-on pic where her nose just about pokes out... just wondering how bad it must look on if they can't even show someone wearing it!

LadyBigtoes · 21/10/2013 14:49

Ha ha I love the model pics for the bonnet. Like - well... maybe it looks OK on? Erm - nope!

BlueSkySunnyDay · 21/10/2013 14:51

Dress is fine, bonnet WTF

Was she trying to recreate a 1960s Twiggy look - seem to remember something similar.

DuckToWater · 21/10/2013 14:52

I quite like the fox scarf! It's better than the puppy ones, IMO.

And better than any of the faux leopardskin ones around which make people look like a cross between Cruella de Vil and Rod Stewart.

Grennie · 21/10/2013 14:54

The fox scarf is terrible.

But the bonnet is about making a fashion statement. I could imagine a beautiful young woman wearing it with the dress, while lunching in Covent Garden. But you would need a certain lifestyle to actually wear it. The school run or shopping in Sainsbury's just isn't the place.

DuckToWater · 21/10/2013 14:56

I love the black cat scarf. But not £139 worth of love. And it would be vastly better without the bits of shiny glass.

Black cat

DuckToWater · 21/10/2013 14:58

Ha ha! The lace bonnet really made me laugh.

Massive baby is clearly a look for this season.
