H and M have knee length linen mix bias cut skirts for £9.90 !

MrsBadger · 03/07/2006 20:40

Tesco had long panelled bias-cut linen skirts for £12 in green, brown and tan, or Matalan had similar for £10.

You've got really nicely shaped calves, not bulky or muscly and not scrawny or beefy and formless. So I think you can wear any length, on the knee, just under, just above or mid-calf.

What do you think of those crinkly peasant skirts? They'd be cool and comfy since they have an elasticated waist and they're a bit stretchy. I've seen lots of cheap ones like that around this summer.

Try new look maybe? Yhey have some lovely cotton a-line skirts for about £12.

FrannyandZooey · 03/07/2006 21:22

I wouldn't choose a long skirt if I were you - your legs are nice and shapely, I think it would be a waste.

But MrsBadger is my guru so do what she says

Smurfgirl · 03/07/2006 21:31

Tortoise it is worth trying to get to Matalan/Asda/Tesco because they do summer skirts SO well. I went today and got loads dead cheap.

I love floaty summery skirts, um some I found online.

blue floaty
red floaty
nice denim mini
love the blue one on the end

Hope these ideas help!

MrsBadger · 03/07/2006 21:32

guru?! ppfft! I only suggested long ones because it's what I've seen around.

just see what catches your eye in the supermarket, or try Dorothy Perkins or Topshop online - both have some good kneelength a-line ones.

Really need some pics to go on.Im no good at style! lol!
I dont like in-between length.Has to be long or just above the knee.
Then i will need new shoes.
