red streak in hair

Do you think it looks too try too hard to put two thin red streaks in your hair?

I have been considering this for a while but wonder if it will make me look like a middle aged woman who is trying too hard

No, if you like it, go for it! Or you could get them hidden underneath for a more subtle effect. I do that with pale pink on blonde.

I am going to do it myself with a colour that washes out after ten washes.

Red streaks look fab. I have purple hair currently but have been almost every colour I could get my hands on over the years. I get lots of compliments on my colour so if you think you'll love it, go for it. It'll always wash out if you don't like it
