If you are in a job where you are on your feet all day, please can you tell me what shoes you wear?

Just that really. I have started a new job where I am standing up all day and I was wearing these www.marksandspencer.com/Collection-Leather-Patent-Finish-Dolly/dp/B00D00ZWUU?ie=UTF8&ref=sr_1_1&nodeId=42966030&sr=1-1&qid=1382276617 but after 7 hours the soles of my feet were pretty sore.

Of course it could be the fact that I am usually sitting on my bottom all day not standing or walking as much. Grin

Will I get used to the shoes or can anyone recommend anything comfortable? Something reasonable stylish would be good.

Hopasholic, I agree, they are too high Sad. But I could look decorative while seated - I need a different job Grin.

I think rather than suggesting certain model it's easier to suggest 'criteria' to look out for (soft sole, wide enough, lowish heel) and then the OP can decide what is suitable for the level of smartness/stylishness she needs to achieve for her job.

i wear these boots a lot - they come in black as well. i find a small heel comfier than no heel. otherwise I wear ballet pumps, but you need a decent leather pair with a bit of a heel. a lot of the cheapo ones are too flat.

these are nice

Pacific - I like those high patent ones! I like the low heel ones too so Clarks it is. My M&S ones almost did the job so I would recommend them as a comfortable shoe, just maybe not for standing up in for 7 hours plus commute.
