I would love to know at what salon she gets her hair done and by whom.
It always looks lovely.

I like Anthea. Not my personal style but she looks lovely whenever I have seen her.

I remember turning the tv on and watching this and thinking how terrible because her hair had caught alight and hoping she would be ok

Hmm - I've had my hair cut by Lino with less satisfactory results and no longer go to him - but I do know at least one other person who also swears by him. And yes he is quite pricy (and so are all the 'extras' at that salon).

On reflection, perhaps me and my hair just weren't glamorous enough, so perhaps not his fault I wasn't overwhelmed.

Lino cut my hair years ago Didn't realise he was the culprit

Well it was in the 80s and was v choppy yes but I don't look like her! At the time he had a spectacular head of ringlets and was known for the 'extras'.

My hairdresser told me a few years ago that she has more pictures of Anthea thrust under her nose with wails of ' I want my hair like that please!' than any one else!! And yes - I was one of them

I am also a saddo at the hairsdressers clutching pictures Without a picture there is such a huge margin for misinterpretation of what you want. Mind you even with a picture it's all gone horribly wrong often enough for me

Unless she's had a radical makeover recently and I haven't noticed, I have always hated Anthea's hair! It may have looked good twenty years ago! Honestly, it is ageing and reminds me of the lead singer's hair from Def Leppard! I think she's stuck in a hair rut....she found something that suited her and kept it, even if it's now dated! If I were a hairdresser the two celebs I'd most like to get my hands on would be Anthea and Cilla Black (another woman who has seemingly had the same hair style forever and is dreadfully aged by it!)
