Are these boots nice or will I look like a giant toddler in them?

I got them in black from TK Maxx last week and was really pleased as they combine two things I love - biker boots and sheepskin (can't bear cold feet!) But having tried them on at home they are very chunky/clumsy and I'm worried I look a bit like a child in them - odd I know! I'd be wearing them mainly with skinny jeans, jumper dresses and thick tights or tunics and leggings - that kind of thing.

Help me decide whether I should return them and go for something more stylish or whether the thought of warm feet all winter makes them a winner.

I really like them, but I'm an interloper on the S&B board so don't take my word for it - an actual stylish person will no doubt be along shortly.

They're fine. I was expecting some great sheepskin cuff around the top, they are just biker books.

I like them, not sure why you think you would look like a toddler in them?

Mabelface · 18/10/2013 10:36

I like them.

I like them, I think they'll look cool. But haha I can see what you mean about toddler shoes now you say it Grin don't think I would've if you hadn't said though!

If they feel clumsy are you sure you couldn't go half a size down? I find that's often the solution.

Otherwise they're lovely.

they look lovely. just under £100 inc express shipping to the UK. seems like a fairly good price for them.

I don't think they look toddlerish at all. rather like the UGG grandle but £60 cheaper for the same type of qualiy, wish i'd seen them before I got the grandles.

I like them

They are bear paw and for me, that is all you need to say!
Enjoy your lovely new boots.

Pandsbear · 18/10/2013 13:32

I like too.

I love Bearpaw boots too! I actually got these for £45 (good old TK Maxx!) so I thought they were a bit of a bargain compared to the Ash ones I fancied which were £250 (or the UGG Grandles which are £160). I think the problem may be my stumpy short legs rather than the boots themselves and sadly there's not much I can do about those!

The next size down was too small but these fitted fine, I think they are just quite a chunky style. I am veering towards keeping them but may try them on with a few outfits and see how they look - the last time I tried them I was wearing little more than my underwear so they were never going to look good!

Thanks ladies :)

I've got some ugg Kensingtons which my mum brought me back from USA a few years ago. I don't think they are the most flattering but I am tall (5ft 10) with skinny legs so I get the golf club effect and it would probably be worse I needed a bigger size - have size 6 which isn't huge in proportion to my height.

I am wearing them today and the though the rest of me is freezing my feet are fine so I consider them a success! Probably wouldn't wear them out of the house/garden to anything very much though!
