Need a decent jacket/coat for ds2. Like superdry but can't stretch to that.

I'm taking dss away to Edinburgh for a few days and would like to get ds2 a decent weatherproof coat. He's 13, tall and very slim.

His friend has a Superdry which I like but they're so expensive. What with the trip, Christmas and ds1 turning 16 to fork out for I can't spend £100 or so on a coat. £50 perhaps.

Has anyone seen one suitable, either online or high street? TIA

What about Uniqlo superwarm stuff? They have a range for children.

Please don't waste your money on Superdry. Kids do love it because it's fashionable but it's very inferior quality and doesn't last very well.

Thanks you two.

I bought him a great lightweight wind/waterproof jacket for £14.95! It's just the job for our holiday and really well made. It arrived today and I was surprised how good it is for the price. Free P&P too. New from Ebay.

Hollister have similar styles in for less than Superdry & seem better quality :)
