I have just cut my own curly hair and I think it went quite well.

For any curly-haired MNers, I have just done an adaptation of the MN hair cut.

I started round my face, taking a finger's width off reach curly strand.

Then I did the ponytail at the front, taking off a tiny bit to even up the length.

Then I tied a ponytail at the back and trimmed that too.

It seems ok and looks much the same as when I go to a salon! I was getting fed up of going to the hairdresser and finding that they did not understand curly hair anyway...

Got to go and rinse off my colour now!

Glad it worked out Smile I cut my own hair too as got fed up with hairdressers not understanding my fine (but a lot of it) lank hair.
