I do not own a single actually waterproof coat. I need one looks out of window now. I liked the look of the Issy waxed parka online but was a bit 'meh' when I tried it on - faux fur was scratty and I don't like the gold trims, too bright. Any good recommends for an alternative? Around £100 mark and doesn't have to be a parka... Thank you!

Sorry meant to say the Issy parka at Oasis!

Try Sea Salt clothing if you are in the South West, or Joules?

Thank you! Just had a look at Sea Salt (Joules looked a bit equestrian for me) and the Kellifray Mac looks good - actually waterproof but still with enough shape to make me not feel too bag-lady like, and classic in black. Think this will be my birthday coat :-) Thanks Revolting!

Did you order one, Nux? I'm considering the Kellifray in black.

Barbour classic - tailored with zip front. Really like mine.

Boden perfect cosy parka. Mine is on its third winter (and saw some summer action too) and is still waterproof, warm and windproof. I wear it all the winter save in the absolute coldest weather. Bit more than £100 but less than a barbour.
