I've been clearing out my wardrobe and trying to get better at the whole mix and match thing.... Anyway I have two skirts I really like but dont know what to put with them.... Wondering if you style gurus can help me please???

  1. a brown corduroy skirt i bought from APC last year. It is A line and above the knee. Might sound frumpy but with brown tights and boots it looks nice.... just no idea what to put on top?

  2. Dark/midnight blue layered skirt that comes to just above knee. Silk material with chocolate brown edging/pattern. Again looks good with brown tights and boots but cant find a top that looks good. Any suggestions?

Im 5'4'' and size 8. Brown/auburn hair and pale skin. Shd prob go get colours done but thats another story. Wd love any suggestions....?

Hmmm guess with the brown cord I would prob go a cream fitted sweater or long sleeved tea, I wear a lot of this combo in the winter with skirts, tights and boots!

Not really sure about your other skirt really hard to imagine what it's like

I think the cream sweater as mentioned above would work with both.

If you have pics upload

What colour eyes? To break up you could do plum/purple/teal etc tops/jumpers more fitted and beige or caramel and long sleeved t shirts from eg jigsaw with cardi on top.
