Argan oil has trashed my hair- help!

I've just used an argan oil deep conditioning treatment, and it has left my hair in a state- the roots are oily and sticky even though I didn't put the damn stuff on them, and the ends are still dry. What do I do? Just wash it again normally tomorrow and hope for the best?

Was it a DIY or a salon job? If it was done at a salon I'd be inclined to call them and mention what your hair is like. See what they suggest.

Sorry, just noticed you said you've used it, so assume it was a DIY job. Perhaps wash it tomorrow and see if you can concentrate on the roots rather than the ends (tricky though).

Sounds like the product dnt suit your hair type, I wud wash your hair an try again in a wks time. I use agron oil without any problems but my hair is hilighted

Just wash it out.

Sounds like it was silicones more than oil that caused the problem. Get some Head and Shoulders (honestly) and some pure coconut oil instead.

Washing up liquid will strip the grease if normal shampoo doesn't shift it.

Wash and use some real oil or silicone free conditioner. most brands of Aryan or Moroccan oil contain cylioxitane (sp?) which is silicone and does exactly what yoy describe : leaves hair dry and greasy at the sametime
