Comfortable shoes/boots that don't look like granny bashers

I NEED a decent pair of shoes/boots. Preferably waterproof, suitable for walking but not walking shoes per se. Don't want trainers really, but dark colour ones ok.

I have got plantar fasciitis after wearing my converses all the time and its really painful. I have just taken on a small amount of dog walking so the timing is terrible!

I don't have any shoe recommendations but bought some orthopaedic insoles for my plimsoles and Converse and they're great.

I've also got plantar fasciitis and I have found the Skechers go run shoes fantastic, they are also really light and comfy.
