Tall women... Where can I find a coat with decent length arms?!

I'm struggling to find a decent winter coat, I have looong arms. I've looked in LTS but that's about it, anywhere else that does coats for long limbed women or indeed any high street shop that comes up v long?

I want a decent coat/ parka, I'm willing to spend a lot but I want it to last and it needs to be super warm, look nice and not be super padded therefore adding stones onto me! I'm a size 12.

TIA, I can't face another winter in my rubbish non warm fashion coats :(

Next tall is pretty good for coats/jackets. My last winter one though came from one of the designers at debenhams maybe Julian McDonald? Maybe I was just lucky but it's plenty long enough in the body and sleeves.
Good luck!

Watching with interest.
I know Zara has very long legs on their trousers - maybe their arms match?

I haven't got one near me sadly.

I have a zara one and a didrikson Taylor which i wore for the first time today. Both are lovely and long in the arm, especially the latter which is completely weatherproof but still light, not bulky, and remarkably stylish given its a performance coat.

Ps this years taylor the sizing is different and the togs on the navy are not red. Any questions ask if interested in that one :)

I've had a couple of good coats from Reiss with randomly long arms; also white stuff seem to pop the odd one out.

I was in Tiso the other day and found a good light weight but warm parka which fitted well am 5' 11 and a 12/14 can't remember the brand but was £140 and came in a few colours

A couple of years ago I bought a Windsmoor coat from Debenhams which fits my very long arms.

Sounds horribly old fashioned, but is in fact a lovely quality, black fit and flare style with a grey furry collar.

(Also it was in the sale so greatly reduced)

I'm 5'10" with long arms and found the Merrell Wakefield a good fit, though I thinks its now called the Merrill Ellenwood so don't know if its exactly the same fit.

Lands end do a tall range

Also recommend Next Tall only online or ordering in store

Dorothy Perkins Tall also only online

I have a Didrikson Naomi and it's brilliant - the insleeve knitted bit comes down to the first knuckle of my thumb. I'm 5'11"

defineme · 11/10/2013 12:44

I've just ordered a navy wool mix duffle from Next tall range that someone on here rec for long arms...will report back when it arrives.

Passthecake30 · 11/10/2013 12:47

I have the Didrikson Mary and Thelma, I'm 6ft and they are probabably about an inch too long on the arms...

mousmous · 11/10/2013 12:50

second didriksons. the swedes really know how to make good, usefull and pretty stuff.
also have a look at decathlon hiking section?
my last winter coat was from there: bum-covering, long arms, warm, rain proof, non sweaty...
