As above. I want to wear black and block jewel colours. Please don't let her say pastels and frilly

Oooh do update.

Bear in mind though that they don't then throw you in jail if you don't follow their advice...

Saw a friend 2 weeks ago wearing what shed been advised was her top colour. She did look great (but IMO she always does).

bertandmarble · 09/10/2013 21:41

I will update! I'm v excited. I have the complexion of an anaemic veal calf so will be interesting to see what she comes up with

Lovely friend took me to have mine done for my birthday. Wasn't seasonal any more. I am deep, warm and soft apparently. I did manage not to snicker in a childish double entendre way. At least until I'd left the session. Grin

Hope it goes well.

CressidaMontgomery · 09/10/2013 22:06

Ooh interested! Update us

MyFabulousBoys · 09/10/2013 22:22

Try not to panic if she says you aren't! Wink

I was told I was a bright spring. Everything I hoped I wouldn't be, however I have embraced it and do look a lot better and it makes clothes buying much easier. I was CLUELESS before.

Am all about the corals now Grin (previously just dressed in blues and black)

PoppyWearer · 09/10/2013 22:25

I'm a deep/cool. Very pale skin. Black is v bad and banned (which is fine until you have to attend a funeral and discover you have no black clothes). If black is banned, embrace navy blue!

Keep us posted.

I'd live to have my colours done but it seems quite expensive. Does anyone know a company that does it that's reasonably priced?

ijustwanttobeme · 09/10/2013 23:27

I'd love to have mine done too.

Can anyone recommend somewhere in South London/ Surrey borders, please that I could go to or someone come to me?

Hope you get to wear block jewel colours.

I'd want plenty of orange and turquoise ( not together, mind) and no white as it just looks bleugh on me.

Muted summer. So pissed off initially

bertandmarble · 10/10/2013 07:46

Belle dame. That's hilarious!

Rainier. I feel your pain. Do those colours really suit you?

AmberNectarine · 10/10/2013 08:10

I'm a sultry winter - they are the best colours...

charitygirl · 10/10/2013 08:25

Muted summer is basically the epitome of class. I'm a deep autumn and my colours look expensive, and grown-up. Whatever season you are will look amazing if you embrace it. I

Winters are easiest to shop for though, it's true.

mrsharrystyles · 10/10/2013 08:41

I had mine done on Monday. I thought I would be a spring. I'm a soft autumn. I have nothing to wear as all my clothes are white, blue or grey.
It was a complete revelation though and a very enjoyable day.

carrie74 · 10/10/2013 10:56

I'm having mine done soon. Am expecting to be an autumn of some description.

I am a winter (hurrah) and very grateful for being able to wear black.
I was dreading being told to wear orange or brown!

I stand corrected! Luckily I blush is a very flattering shade of pink!
Sorry!

DidoTheDodo · 10/10/2013 12:13

in, IN not is.
Are fat fingers a style?

ElizabethBathory · 10/10/2013 15:30

I find it really funny how everyone wants to be a winter so they can keep all their black clothes. I AM a winter and I never wore black before having my colours done because I thought you needed to be an olive-skinned Italian woman to pull it off (I am v pale)!

RockMummy · 10/10/2013 16:16

I knew that I wouldn't be a winter as black hadn't suited me for a long time. I was deluding myself. Turned out be a bright leaf autumn. My life long beautiful relationship with green was totally vindicated. Also my dislike of most shades of pink.

RainierWolfcastle · 10/10/2013 17:09

they do! yup they do
