My hair hasn't been cut in 6months, is very long (almost waist length) I like classic (KM style) with a modern twist (gentle ombré for example)... Any recommendations for salon and stylist would be appreciated.

Sally at Emma Hall Hair is lovely. It's at the top end of leith walk (Haddington Place is the actual address I think)

Charlie miller at south st David street, just down from st Andrew square.

gininteacupsandleavesonthelawn · 07/10/2013 19:50

Thank you! Who would you recommend at Charlie miller?

I used to go to Debbie in the CM in Harvey nicks, she was ace and did my wedding hair too. But I left the boro in 2007, don't know if she's still there

Karen at JFK in Bruntsfield is excellent. She's known for being particularly good with long hair.

OwlMother · 27/10/2013 07:45

Karen at JFK is excellent. However I wouldn't describe her as a very good people person. I see Stan at JFK- much more user- friendly! Mind you, Karen did my wedding hair and it was amazing.

Charlie Miller Frederick Street - Linsey is just brilliant at colour and cutting. I've been seeing her for years.

BuntyCollocks · 27/10/2013 11:35

If it's central Scotland in general, Mo at shine in Broxburn is excellent. Edinburgh - Neil Barton at Neil Barton!

PrimalLass · 27/10/2013 11:43

Craig at Cheynes in Bruntsfield is fab. And good chat too.

ShreddedHoops · 27/10/2013 13:53

India at Charlie Miller on Frederick St. Best hairdresser ever.

auldspinster · 27/10/2013 14:02

Laura at Charlie Miller Stafford Street is fan.

auldspinster · 27/10/2013 14:03

Fab even!

Owl - I know what you mean about Karen but I really like her!
