When should I start looking for a dress for a February wedding?

Dh is being best man at his best mate wedding this February. I will need something to wear but have no idea what as I have never been to a wedding that wasn't in the summer!

I don't want to leave it too late and end up with some sparkly Christmas party frock!

When would you start looking?

Fwiw I'm 5foot 2, with short legs, size 10 with slightly iffy tummy. I'll have the dc, effectively on my own, so will need to be able to chase after them!

Post Christmas sales, definitely! It won't all be sparkly stuff. Don't buy something now for £80 that will almost definitely be 50% off after Christmas.

There will be a lot less choice in 2 month's time. Buy something now that you will use plenty of times.

rebecca - I wish I could get lots of use out of it but as a SAHM who has very few babysitters near by the opportunities are few and far between.
